Adrián Morales, iPresas CTO, speaker in the International Forum on Risk Management in Hydroelectric Power Plants

• He participated as invited speaker, a presentation with title “Risk analysis applied to dam safety management: real cases in Argentina and Uruguay”, first speech of the Forum.

Adrián Morales participated during the Forum held from 13 to 15 November at the Salto Grande hydroelectric complex in Uruguay.

Specifically, he explained the advantages of having a deeper knowledge about dam characteristics and performance, to prevent potential failures such as overtopping, internal erosion or seepage, among others.

The event – which counted with the participation of more than 200 attendees- was organized in three sessions.

During the first day, presentations from Salto Grande representatives and other international organizations and companies were conducted.The discussion sessions and final conclusions took place during the second day of the Forum, to conclude with planned technical visits for all attendees during the third day.
