From February 17 to 19, iPresas, in collaboration with Conagua and the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources of Mexico, conducted a specialized course on Risk Analysis Applied to Dam Safety.
The event brought together more than 150 professionals from the sector with the goal of strengthening capacities in risk management for water and tailings dams, promoting a risk-based approach to enhance decision-making.
Throughout the sessions, participants explored different risk analysis methodologies, analyzed international case studies, and engaged in hands-on exercises on:
- Failure mode identification
- Risk calculation using iPresas HidSimp
- Action prioritization with iPresas ManagerSimp
These activities fostered an engaging and dynamic learning experience.
