Ignacio Escuder and Adrián Morales, experts on dam risk analysis for a project funded by the World Bank

Ignacio Escuder and Adrián Morales have participated as experts on dam risk analysis in the framework of the “Water for Uruguay” project, funded by the World Bank.

The activities were conducted within Pillar 3 with title “Development of the Regulatory Framework for Dam Safety in Uruguay”.

The World Bank provided technical assistance on dam safety, in collaboration with experts from Spain, Brasil, Argentina, Norway and United States.

A course was held in Montevideo in June 2016, with title “Dam safety: fundamentals and best practices for risk control, management and reduction”.
