The project sought to review the work previously undertaken and determine whether the proposed solutions would reduce potential flood impacts and meet the requirements of the applicable regulations.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The work included a review of the regulatory framework and existing studies, together with an updated characterisation of rainfall within the project area. Based on this information, a rainfall-runoff hydrological model and a two-dimensional hydraulic model were developed to assess flow behaviour at the proposed plant site.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The modelling supported an assessment of flood conditions under both the existing situation and the future scenario following implementation of the proposed corrective works.
