Incorporation<\/em> of the <strong>Valencian Innovation Agency<\/strong> (Agencia Valenciana de la Innovaci\u00f3n, AVI), has granted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipresas.com\">iPresas<\/a> an aid to carry out the project entitled <strong><em>Development of a Risks Analysis Tool for Hydraulic Equipment of Hydroelectric Dams<\/em><\/strong>. This aid is based on the incorporation of researchers and technologists for innovation projects in companies to promote the Valencian Innovation System to improve and develop the productive model.<\/p>\n<p>The main purpose of this project is to implement a <strong>new line of business in iPresas based on the incorporation of the analysis of hydraulic generation equipment<\/strong> to the accumulated knowledge by the company on risk analysis, integrating the results of tools such as the three-dimensional hydraulic modeling to the identification and analysis of failure modes procedures and quantitative risk analysis.<\/p>\n<p>This work will <strong>support decision-making in the design and maintenance of equipment<\/strong> linked to the hydroelectric dam generation and also will make easier the current dam park management in terms of risk analysis, as well as the relevance of undertaking certain maintenance and prevention actions.
