a delegation from the <strong data-start=\"212\" data-end=\"265\">Department of Irrigation and Drainage of Malaysia<\/strong> for an intensive week of <strong data-start=\"291\" data-end=\"339\">training in dam risk analysis and dam safety<\/strong>, which included visits to various public and private dams, such as the <strong data-start=\"411\" data-end=\"423\">Tous Dam<\/strong> (Valencian Community).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-040ca92 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"040ca92\" decision-making<\/strong> throughout a dam\u2019s life cycle: from setting criteria and organising information, to <strong data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"702\">prioritising actions<\/strong> and continuous improvement. This direct exposure generates learning that no classroom can replicate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-120b600 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"120b600\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Why it matters?\n<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-090a81b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"090a81b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Risk analysis is a way to organise decision-making, with clear and visible rules, to determine which actions should come first. It helps transparently select the measures that most reduce risk and provide greater safety for the public.
