At the 91st ICOLD Annual Meeting, which took place at the Svenska M\u00e4ssan exhibition centre in Gothenburg from 10-15 June 2023, iPresas<\/strong> was represented by: Ignacio Escuder Bueno (iPresas Founding Partner), Adri\u00e1n Morales Torres (iPresas Technical Director) and Helena Yarritu S\u00e1nchez (Business Development Manager).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the congress, iPresas actively participated in several meetings of the ICOLD Technical Committees and also presented several papers during the congress. In total, iPresas presented 5 papers, of which 2 were selected for presentation at the congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ignacio Escuder Bueno<\/a><\/strong> presented the paper “3D-Modelling of B\u00e9znar Dam (Granada, Spain) including the response of the foundation and its discontinuities” on Tuesday 13th June in the session dedicated to “Foundations – Monitoring & Scour\u201d and was chairman of the session “Dam Safety Management – Risk” on Wednesday 14th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adri\u00e1n Morales Torres<\/a><\/strong> presented the work “Benefits of risk-informed dam safety management for some key dams in Colombia” on Wednesday 14th in the session “Dam Safety Management – Risk”, presentation for which he received the Young Professionals award in the sustainability category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
