Daniel Cervera Miquel holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Degree in Public Works Engineering, both from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the CEU – Cardenal Herrera University.
He currently has over four years of experience in consultancy related to dam safety. Daniel has worked in the implementation of the risk analysis methodology for dam safety management in more than 10 dams and the behaviour through numerical modelling in 12 dams, both Spanish and international, of different public and private organisations.
He is currently working on his doctoral thesis on the application of numerical modelling to the study of seismic fragility of loose material dams, and is the author of several publications in conferences on this subject and on numerical modelling in general.
In his professional experience, he has also worked on the realisation and supervision of projects for the electro-technical sector and for the treatment of water and industrial gases.
